Students and staff can save money when they go to the movies this fall just by stopping in the Student Life Center.

AMC, Lowes and Clearview cinemas are offering discount movie tickets through the college.

Registered students and school faculty can purchase a limit of two AMC or Loews passes for $6.50 each and $7 each respectively for shows during the fall semester. Adult tickets usually cost $9.50 each, according to AMC's website. The discounted passes are also available for community members at $7.50 each.

AMC Entertainment operates more than 4,500 movie screens in 30 states and has been in business since 1920, according to the company.

Clearview Cinemas, a division of Cablevision that operates 48 theaters with 254 screens in the New York metropolitan area, is offering discounted tickets costing $7 for students, $7.50 for faculty and staff and $8 for community members when purchased through the college instead of the normal $9 price.

All discounted tickets can be purchased at the information desk inside the Student Life Center and are based on availability and may be subject to certain restrictions, according to the school. Contact the individual theater directly for schedules or possible restrictions on the passes.
