 Brookdale Community College offers a variety of opportunities to participate in competitive sports and athletic activities, on both the intercollegiate and intramural level.BCC’s recreational activities provide a low-pressure, fun environment.  The intercollegiate athletic program, however, is highly competitive within the Garden State Athletic Conference, the Region XIX, and the nation.The following is a list of Brookdale's fall intercollegiate programs open to full-time students taking at least 12 credits: men’s and women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and cross country. The winter sports are men’s and women’s basketball and cheerleading.Intramural, or recreational, programs open to full-time students are: a tennis tournament, horseshoe tournament, charter fishing trip, 100-mile club, coed volleyball, foul shooting contest,  Krav Maga (self defense training), 1-on-1 basketball tournament, Friday night recreational tennis, wiffleball tournament, bocce tournament, run-4-fun, bowling tournament and spot shot contest.Those interested in participating in either intercollegiate or intramural/recreational athletics can stop by the Athletic Department offices in the Robert Collins Arena, located off of parking lots 6 and 7, for more information.
