On Sunday Oct. 6, over 1,500 Monmouth County students attended the Monmouth County Fall College Fair. This event was held at Brookdale’s main campus in the Collins Arena from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The fair featured over 200 different colleges from all around the country including several New Jersey schools like Rutgers University, Berkeley College, and Monmouth University. There was even a table for our very own Brookdale Community College and a separate table for our Communiversity program.
The fair also had representatives from many out-of-state schools such as Penn State University, The State University of New York, and even schools from states like Arizona, Virginia, and North Carolina.
“I think it was an outstanding event for all students engaged in the college search process, whether just starting to explore or finalizing their list,” said Dawn Kaszuba, director of Students Personal Services at Red Bank Regional.
The event was run by the New Jersey Association of College Admissions Counselors in Conjunction with Monmouth County Guidance Instructors Association or the NJACAC which is made up of high school guidance counselors.
