Ryan Mauro To Speak As Part Of WWII Studies Series

During World War II, Nazi-sympathetic Arab leaders helped Adolf Hitler expand Nazism throughout the Middle East.  Chief among them was the leadership of the Arab nationalist group The Muslim Brotherhood, a movement founded in 1928 in Egypt.
     The Germans collaborated with the Brotherhood before and during the war.  The Brotherhood remained active after the war, engaging in terrorism and seeking to create Islamic states in the region and eventually beyond. 
     Today, the Muslim Brotherhood is the most powerful Islamist organization in the world. Come
