Counsel Corner: You Are Beautiful

I am once again finding myself writing on the subject of self image.
Sometimes we see ourselves as others see us.
And I must say that it is a ridiculous notion. If somebody else has a problem with who you are, then they are not worth your time.
Anyone who comprises who they are has lost my respect.
Just because someone is different than you are, they must be destroyed. Hmm; where have I heard that before?
Oh I know! I heard that in history class!!
That was one of the earliest causes to go to war. Interesting?
Perhaps I should be writing about accepting those who are different than you are.
Just because someone is not exactly up to your standards does not mean that you have any right to give them a hard time.
People have always found reasons to fight each other, but must we add to the list of reasons for stupid things, like the clothes we wear?
Think about this: Every time you have something negative to say about someone, try to find something positive to say as well.
If you can do that, then you can say what you will. Otherwise, keep your comments to yourself.
