The Tragedy Of ‘Changeling’ Is Handled With Care

By Matthew Fisher
Angelina Jolie has had a very interesting film career, working in animation with “Kung-Fu Panda” to drama with “Girl, Interrupted.”  However, it’s with her newest film that she truly shows why she is one of Hollywood’s best actresses.
In “Changeling,” Jolie really puts her all into this character of Christine Collins, who is working desperately, defying the odds, to find her son despite claims that he was found.  Every scene she is in is terrific, and every time she speaks it’s powerful, which shows there are not enough words to praise Jolie for this very emotional and difficult role.  There’s no doubt that she definitely deserves an Oscar for this incredibly amazing role.
